Here we have Landlord and Landlady, Dave and Colleen Drury and Manager Siobhan Sorrell. All who are committed to keeping music live by having live music every weekend. Friday Live sees bands travelling far and wide to hit the stage. Every Friday there is free live music as well as music in the main venue room. We have been staging live gigs since 2005 when we started out as the MUSO'S youth project encouraging young people off of the streets and into music. Since those early days we have staged and supported 100's of bands from all over world including some household names such as The Slaves, The Meteors, Wilko Johnson Band, Star Botherers, Neville Staple Band (The Specials) New Model Army, Drunk in Public (The Levellers), Pretty Babs, Ed Tudor Pole, XSLF, Sham 69, Chelsea, The Vibrators, Urban Voodoo Machine, Dreadzone, John Otway and Bonehead from Oasis to name just a few.
OUR VENUE
We have three fully equipped stages for live music events, one in the pub side for smaller events and two in our main 499 capacity venue. We specialise in all day events, running two stages in our main venue. Our main stage now runs a 12K speaker system with the latest X32 industry standard digital desk
